I’m not entirely sure what to do with the blog portion of this website but I do want to put it to good use. I find myself at a bit of a financial standstill these days, which consequently, halts many of the activities I do that are worthy of blogging about. When I’m not in this particular situation, I love to travel, experience live entertainment, and create new hobbies. Costly things, as you can probably imagine. Until I get back on my feet, I guess you’ll just have to deal with my musings about my unnatural affection for Norwegian crooners and Internet-bred horror stories.
This site was primarily created as an archive for all of my past projects and a permanent digital display window for my future ones. You see, I’m a writer, and in a completely unheard of feat for most 27-year-olds, I actually have a few completed projects to defend this claim. When I was about 22, I wrote and directed an audio drama called “Cracks in the Armor” based on characters from the Metal Gear Solid game franchise (which I may or may not be obsessed with). The completion of that felt so good that I later went on to complete several screenplays, a few short stories, some original short films, a music video, and a stint as an interviewer of celebrities. People ended up really getting behind these (I guess you call them…fans?) but as time went on, they slowly faded away from their corners of the Internet. Now, in my great financial uncertainty, I kind of felt like the time was right to make of all these ventures accessible under one URL. Now the WWW has Amandamation.com, a hub for all of my projects, or spinning plates as I like to call them. I’m not even close to being done with the content, but there’s enough available right now to easily waste a few hours of your day.
Welcome to my site, enjoy your stay, and remember to never click on anything I link.
